Wrong. This is a misconception and dated stereotype. All decent and reputable pawn shops work closely with local authorities as required by law. If a Pawn shop dealt in stolen merchandise, how long do you think they would stay in business? Think about it.

What do I need to do to purchase a firearm?
TO PURCHASE A HAND GUN
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You must be a West Virginia resident.
- With a valid picture I.D. or drivers license with your CURRENT address.
- ALL guns are subject to a NICS federal firearms background check (EVEN BLACK POWDER).
- You may be delayed.
TO PURCHASE A LONG GUN
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- With a valid picture I.D. or drivers license with your CURRENT address.

Can I order a firearm from somewhere else and have it shipped to your store for pick up?
YES. The transfer fee is $25.00 plus tax. We require an FFL from a licensed dealer to be accompanied with the firearm.
Buds Gun Shop is one of our preferred dealers.
